This does not affect your statutory rights.
PART 2: RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
1. Unwanted Items (Your Right to Cancel)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the legal right to cancel your order and return unwanted goods.
Cooling-off period: You have 14 days from the day you (or a third party nominated by you) receive the goods to notify us that you wish to cancel and return the item.
Return window: Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to send the goods back to us.
Condition: To be eligible for a return, you may inspect the goods as you would in a retail store. However, we may make a deduction from any refund for loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. Certain products are exempt from cancellation rights once unsealed, including sealed computer software and sealed audio or video recordings. Where such exemptions apply, this will be clearly indicated on the product listing.
Who pays for return shipping? For unwanted items, you are responsible for paying the return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.
Within 30 days: If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect upon arrival, you have the right to reject the goods and receive a full refund. Where appropriate, we may also offer a replacement at your request. We will cover the cost of return shipping for faulty goods.
Faults appearing after 30 days: If your item develops a fault after the initial 30-day period, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a repair or replacement is unsuccessful, you may be entitled to a price reduction or final right to reject the goods for a refund.
Manufacturer Warranties: Many IT accessories come with a manufacturer’s warranty exceeding 6 months your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 exist independently of any manufacturer's warranty. Any manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned under the standard unwanted items policy. These include:
Computer software, audio, or video recordings that have been unsealed.
Customised, personalised, or bespoke goods.
Gift cards
Downloadable software products where download or activation has begun and the customer has expressly acknowledged the loss of their cancellation rights.
4. How to Return an Item
Please do not send goods back before contacting us and obtaining return instructions.
To exercise your right to cancel or initiate a return, please contact our customer service team by email:
1. Email our customer service team at Support@itaccessories.co.uk with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
2. Upon receiving your request, we will issue an RMA number and provide instructions for returning the goods where appropriate.
3. We strongly recommend obtaining an RMA number before returning goods, as this helps us identify and process your return promptly. Returns received without an RMA may experience delays in processing. Failure to obtain an RMA number will not affect your statutory rights to cancel an order or return faulty goods.
4. Please clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the returned package. Failure to do so may delay the processing of your return.
5. Where an RMA has been issued, where reasonably possible, we ask that goods are returned within 30 calendar days. This administrative requirement does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.
6. Where you arrange the return of goods, you are responsible for ensuring that they are packaged appropriately to prevent damage during transit. This does not affect any rights you may have where we arrange collection or provide a prepaid return service.
Return Address: Group Gear Ltd, Unit 1 Antler Buildings, Bromsgrove Road, Halesowen, West Midlands, B63 3HJ
5. The Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the outcome of our inspection and the status of your refund or other remedy. Where a repair or replacement is provided as the appropriate remedy, a refund may not be available. Where a refund is due, it will be processed and automatically applied to your original method of payment.
Timeline: We will reimburse you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day we receive the returned goods, or (if earlier) the day you provide evidence that you have returned them. It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.
Original Delivery Costs: If you are returning an entire order under the 14-day right to cancel, we will only refund the standard delivery cost of £1.99. If you opted for enhanced delivery (e.g. Next Day), we will only refund the cost of standard delivery (RoyalMail 2nd Class Non Recorded).
